Ichiko Aoba – BGM at Orchard Hall (June 21th, 2021)

Original BGM for the “Windswept Adan Concert” at Bunkamura Orchard Hall held last year.

夏至がやってきました。
昨年の今頃、渋谷の海底、舞台裏では結った髪にオオタニワタリを挿し、支度をするメンバーみんなの指先がきらきらと飾られているのを眺めていた。
呼吸している空中に泡が見えた。天井には魚。

あの日、開場時間、17:30から鳴り始めていたBGMを、
１年後の今日、同じ時刻にリリースいたします。

待ってはくれない、季節が巡る。
生き続ける。

私たちにとって、素晴らしい夏の訪れとなりますように。

The summer solstice has arrived.
Just this time last year, at the bottom of the Shibuya seabed,
I was watching the glittering fingertips of all the members of my Windswept Adan band preparing for the show,  with a nest fern in my hair. I saw bubbles in the air I was breathing. Fish were on the ceiling.

Today, exactly one year on from that day,
the background music that was playing at the opening time of 17:30 has just been released on Bandcamp & YouTube.

The seasons come and go, they don’t wait.
We continue to live.
